Our experience with PHP and MySQL is displayed in our work with Studentvalue and NightInc.
With Studentvalue the main focus was on establishing a database to hold thousands of products and to write code for them to be displayed in way that would be easily digestible for the viewer. We used MySQL and PHP in order to enter and extract this information.
With NightInc, we were tasked with not only using PHP and MySQL to display the data, but also to produce a tailor made invite system in order to encourage user registration. The database is quite large for NightInc, as it has to be able to store the user information of clubs signed up as well as customers, as well as tracking who invited each customer in order to reward them with loyalty points.
